Ooni Of Ife Welcomes First Child With Fourth Wife

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his fourth wife, Olori Folashade, have welcomed their first child together. The monarch announced the joyful news on his social media today.

He wrote, “To God be the glory for the great things He has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today gave birth to a Prince from the maternal side of the Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of the Lafogido Ruling House and the paternal side of the Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of the Giesi Ruling House, united under the Royal throne of Oduduwa.

“Mother and child are doing well, to the glory of God Almighty and in accordance with the spirits of our ancestors.”

The monarch married Olori Folashade in October 2022.
