Sokoto State Govt To Build Govt House Fence For N772 Million

The Sokoto state govt council has approved the construction of a security pre-cast concrete fence at a cost of over N772 million. According to the Commissioner for Information, Malam Danladi Bako, the present fence is too low and it has suffered a lot of degradation for close to 30 years of its construction.
The whole wall right from all the perimeter of government house will be pulled down and replaced by recast walls, the new wall will be increased in height, and will also include the provision of two high quality furnished car parks on each side of the main entrance to the government house and an expansion to include the new buildings that were acquired by government and to replace a lot of all the damage parts.
