Ramadan: Jigawa Govt Reduces Working Hours for Civil Servants

Governor Malam Umar Namadi has approved a reduction in official working hours for civil servants in Jigawa State throughout the 2025 Ramadan fast.
According to him, civil servants will now work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, instead of the usual 5:00 pm closing time.
On Fridays, work hours will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, in line with existing practice.
According to a statement issued to media houses, the adjustment is aimed at easing the burden on civil servants, allowing them more time to prepare for iftar and actively participate in the spiritual activities of Ramadan.
