Ex-Head of Service, Adamu Fika Dies at 90

An elder statesman and former Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Malam Adamu Fika is dead.

The death of the nonagenarian was announced by the Secretary Fika Emirate Council Potiskum, Yobe State, Ali Gimba Fika in a statement.

Fika died last night mid flight while returning from London to Kaduna.

He was in a London hospital to treat an undisclosed ailment.

Funeral prayers will be held for him today, Wednesday by 4:00 pm at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna.
