PICTURES : Aftermath of Kuje Prison Attack

Boko Haram terrorists on Tuesday night attacked Kuje Custodial Centre and freed over 600 Boko Haram suspects. About 300 inmates have been recaptured, while 300 are still at large.

Seven cars which belonged to the Nigerian Correctional Service were burnt during the attack.

The terrorists detonated explosives which razed cars and also pulled down a wall.

An operative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps was killed during the attack.
