Nigerian Idol: Seyi Shay Dragged For Telling A Teenage Contestant He Can Never ‘Make It’ In Music
Popular Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi popularly known by her stage name, Seyi Shay is being dragged on social media for thrashing the performance of a 17-year-old aspiring singer who happened to be a contestant on the show.
In a video making rounds on social media, the songwriter who is one of the judges of a talent show, Nigerian Idola is seen condemning the performance of the 17-year-old contestant.
According to Seyi Shay, the young boy should not have auditioned for the show at all; even though he has a singing voice, his performance was terrible. In addition, she noted that the kid can never make money from singing.
In Seyi Shay response, she seems to be enjoying the buzz she’s getting as she expresses how she feels like Judge Judy.
