Lagos State Government Shuts Down Cubana Nightclub
The Lagos State safety commission mandated has shut down popular nightclub and bar, Cubana located in Ikeja GRA for non-compliance to the new State Government COVID-19 guidelines . The security operatives also sealed up other facilities for non-compliance.
In a video on Twitter, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, sent the club-goers out of the Cubana building before shutting the facility.
You will recall the fresh COVID-19 guidelines issues by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu banned carnivals, concerts, and street parties in the State until further notice.
The Governor also returned the order restricting the operations of churches and mosques in the State, adding that no gathering must exceed 50 percent of the maximum capacity of the venue.
He also directed all public servants from Grade Level 14 and below, except emergency workers and first responders, to work from home for the next 14 days starting from next week.
