Today is World Bloggers’ Day, a day set aside to celebrate bloggers around the world. Looking back to how this journey started and where i am currently. I can’t help but thank. Here’s how my journey into the world of blogging started.

HOW I STARTED BLOGGING: During my university days, I spent most of my time shuttling Lagos and school because I was more into ushering jobs than school work. So two years before graduation, I decided to stop ushering jobs and focus on school work. During this period, a friend called to findout what I’ve being upto. I told him I had stopped modeling and that I was just in school. So he advised that I start a blog instead of me whiling away time with my friends. He introduced me to Linda Ikeji’s Blog and Bellanaija.. during further research, I stumbled on Olorisupergal Blog. I started by Blog after 3 months of constantly reading these blogs.
FIRST MONEY I MADE
One day I got a call from the publisher of Acada Magazine Mr Biodun Caston Dada saying he wanted me to help publish a story on my blog. I didn’t even know at the time that I could make money from blogging. I published the story without expecting payment .. after all, I was blogging to while away time. 24hrs later he asked for my account details and sent N5000. I was extremely happy because I had become terribly broke. This was a year after I started blogging.
HOW I MADE IT & WHO I AM TODAY AS A BLOGGER
I wouldn’t say I’m exactly where I want to be.. but what I can say for sure is that it’s being God’s Grace. The grace to stay dedicated to blogging, the grace of giving me people who have supported and helped the brand. The grace of giving me loyal readers and dedicated followers across our social media platforms. The grace of not staying blind to the new trends, the grace of giving us clients who keep coming back because they got returns on investment from advertising with us. The grace of holding on despite the ups and downs. Nobody taught me how to blog.. I made a lot of mistakes and I learnt from those mistakes .. It’s only being my God’s awesome grace. Today, I’m certainly not where I was when I started blogging.. I kept reading and staying up to date with informations about blogging. Blogging was the first step. It’s being from blogging to more opportunities. Venturing into the world of photography,  social media management and managing social media campaigns . I always tell people.. you do not know what plan God has in store for you until you take that bold/first step towards greatness. Whatever idea God has placed in your heart.. just start. embrace your journey and watch things take shape.
