Aisha Gave Her Children a Future the Nigerian System Lacked – Foluke Daramola
Tributes have been pouring since Aisha Abimbola passed on. In a tribute written for late Aisha.. her friend and colleague Foluke Daramola Salako said Aisha sacrificed so much for her children and gave them a future the Nigerian system lacked..
She said ..
A story of “AN INCURABLE OPTIMIST!
I celebrate this passed away determined, dugged and sacrificing TRUE mother for what she was and what she stood for b4 her last breath.
Aishat as she stated in one of her posts was a true fighter and till her dying days,
As the Holy book says “i have fought a good fight,i have finished my couse and await for me is the crown of rightousness, she knew she had this killer of a disease but she told herself she didnt need anyone’s pity, cos it obviously wouldnt have solved any problems for her anyway..
So what did this sister of mine do she took the destinies of her children and made sure she gave them a better future which the Nigerian system lacked, she made sure she didnt join in the blame game that will jeopadise the destinies of her dear children that she virtually lived for.
She struggled with her last breath to see that her children didnt have to go through the individualistic struggle she went through so with the help of her God and most importantly OPTIMISTIC DETERMINATION she secured a better future for her children…..Hmmmmm Abiyamo tooto
Yes, people can say we artists dont support one another, but have we also thought about the fact that everyone has one thing or another we are also nursing on our own?
In as much as we love to be there for one another too? I guess Aisha had a deeper knowledge of that and knew she had to savage her “BACK ” from the horror of what she went through.
Peeps! This is no time for blame games of who’s meant to be there for her or not because
Sadly but truthfully we all owe the debt of death, we just dont know who’s next (ki odun jina si ara ni) but lets all prepare for our BACK like this heroine of motherhood did.
Aishat i am sad that u are gone so soon, but i celebrate ur courage of strength for ur children and i celebrate ur dogged optimism about life and death. Sleep on a TRUE MOTHER IN DEED
