How My Stepmum Prevailed Over Dad To Let Me Become An Actor – Sunkanmi Omobolanle

Prolific actor and son of veteran actor, Sunday Omoblanle , Sunkanmi, has disclosed in a recent interview how his step mum Peju Ogunmola prevailed over his father to let him pursue his passion in the movie industry instead of becoming a Soldier. 
Speaking recently on BON BOX Office on WFM 97.1, Sunkanmi, stated that as a kid his father had wanted him to be in the military; as a matter of fact he had attended Nigerian Military School as a child before proceeding to Olabisi Onabanjo University. 

Thanks to Peju, his step mum who intervened and convinced his father who was initially hesitant to allow him chase a career in acting.
The light skinned actor who recently debuted as a producer has disclosed September as the month for the release of his feature film, THE KNOT.
Speaking further on the show, Sunkanmi also described his wife, Abimbola of over five years is the best thing that has happened to him.
