Helen:  Kindly introduce yourself and give us a snap shot from the beginning of your career to date.

Tosin:  My name is Tosin Opaleye , Creative Director of Topal Touch , Officially 4yrs in the industry, professionally recognised and reckoned with.

Helen: What is the most memorable job you have ever had? 

Tosin: Working with the likes of Ovation Magazine, Jasmine Magazine etc 

Helen:   What are the personality traits that are required to succeed in the industry?

Tosin: Consistent, perseverance, humility and time conscious.

Helen: Where do you go for creative inspiration?

Tosin: I like going to art studio and beach. 

Helen: Why do you love your job?

Tosin: It’s a passion, challenging but fun.

Helen:  What is the craziest request you have ever had on the job?

Tosin:  When one of my followers asked me to create a vampire look for halloween last year, I don’t have any idea, so I had to look for somewhere to buy a fake canine teeth cause I don’t do special effect makeup but it came out nice at the end.

Helen: What are the major challenges in the  industry? 

Tosin: Pricing and underrate.

Helen: What song always gets you on the dance floor?

Tosin: Duro by Tekno

Helen: How do you unwind after a big event?

Tosin:  Occasionally beach.

Tosin: Humble and down to heart.

Helen:  Best event you’ve been to as a guest?

Tosin: Ovation carol.

Helen: What is your drink of choice at an event?

Tosin: Irish cream or fruit juice.

Helen: A lot of people make mistakes when starting off a business.. Kindly tell us the major steps to take when venturing into makeover business in order to avoid these mistakes. 

Tosin: You have to be determined and focused, expose yourself by attending seminals, master classes, brushup to know what’s trending, make friends with good people, and be humble.
