The activation, which is a unique and an exciting platform that combines the three exciting elements of Basketball, Music and Dance, drew a massive number of students who participated actively in the event.

Speaking at the event, Senior Brand Manager, Flavours, Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, Toyin Nnodi, expressed delight at the impressive turnout of students, , and noted that this was driven by the Sprite brand’s ability to truly connect with Nigerian teens.

Nnodi said, “The last few weeks have been a truly interesting experience as we’ve travelled round the country to different Nigerian campuses. We’ve been to five Universities thus far and the Sprite Triple Slam train is now here in Port Harcourt to give campus students the opportunity to enjoy the same unique experience and connect with brand Sprite. Beside the high level of engagement and excitement we’ve seen here today, I’m impressed by the great show of skill, dexterity and talent Port Harcourt students have shown here today.

The event also saw good displays of skills and showmanship in the Basketball and Music categories.

As with the other locations, the event reached its climax with an electrifying performance from the guest artiste of the day, Vector the Viper, who was joined on stage by student Daniel Darius, the hottest rapper on campus who won over the crowd during the Rap category performances. . The duo’s performance was remarkable. Daniel rapped to Vector’s well known lyrics and did a freestyle rap performance, in response to key words given him by the “King Kong” star. They both got the audience cheering excitedly as they sang along, danced and clicked away on their phones, filming and taking pictures.
