Timi Dakolo’s Val Event ‘Love Affairs’ Turnout Was Worse Than You Can Ever Imagine

What way can one best describe an event that had the lowest turnout of guests? Nigeria’s voice maestro and award winning vocalist Timi Dakolo probably thought he could stage the best Val show in Lagos. An event he tagged ‘Love Affairs’ which was suppose to be a romantic valantine dinner had the lowest turnout of guests despite his celebrity status. Tickets for the event were sold for as high as N1m, venue was at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Our dear Timi aimed at having at least 500 guests for the event, sadly, only 10- 20 people attended the event. This isn’t the first time Timi’s event will be a floop. He had organized an event last year at the Intercontinental hotel, Lagos. Where the red carpet session was suppose to kick off at 7pm and at 9pm, the red carpet session had not commenced and there were no guests. Our sincere advice, Timi should should work on publicizing his events.. See pictures from the event below
