Dino Melaye Expresses Relief Over Failed Marriage

The social media had in the last few days been awash with reports, as well as divorce papers and sundry petitions allegedly written by the wife of a former member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Dino Melaye. His wife Tokunbo is seeking to end their 10-year-old union in a petitions where she cited domestic violence as the cause of the frosty relationship between her and her husband.
But the most surprising part is that Dino Melaye who just signified interest to run for the senatorial seat of Kogi West District wrote on both Twitter and Facebook that “I am grateful to God that a turbulent phase in my life has finally come to a long awaited end,” this statement obviously didn’t go down well with some his facebook fans and twitter followers. They actually feel he was not laying a good example for the younger generation and I ask myself, shouldn’t a delicate issue such as marriage be left out of the social media sphere?
