Husband Flees Home As Wife Delivers Triplet

A 40-year-old farmer, Biodun Akapo, of Afojupa Village, a suburb of Owode-Egba, Obafemi-Owode Local Government, Ogun State, has fled his home after his wife, Bose, delivered a set of triplets last Wednesday.

It was gathered that after Bose delivered the babies at a maternity home in the town, her husband could not settle the hospital bills, a development that made the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Kolawole Sowemimo, stepped in and rescued the mother and her triplets by picking the hospital bills.

The father of the triplets, who was said to have fled his home, had yet to return to his family on Thursday (yesterday). The couple already had two children.
