Blackberry Phone Thief Sentenced To 3-Month Community Service

An Oshodi Magistrates’ court has sentenced a 20-year-old man, Samuel Emmanuel, who stole a Blackberry mobile phone valued at N21,000, to a three months community service without an option of fine since he pleaded guilty to the charge.

The accused stole the phone belonging to one Dolapo Audu, where he came pretending he wanted to play games and stole it while Dolapo was charging it. He also confessed that he had sold the phone to someone in Ikeja Computer Village for N10,000.
