How Abiola & Ayoola Met

We met at my friend’s bridal shower and It was also a welcome party for the couple on 8th Feb at Ikoyi lagos. Ayoola happen to be a close friend to the groom, infact, he was the best man and I was on the bridal train!!
Ur guess is as gud as mine *chuckles* but it didn’t just start like dat, we didn’t get talking that day. The following week was the engagment/wedding ceremony, we met during the preparation and just greeted each other , during the events we got talking and we exchanged numbers. He called afterwards, asked for a few dates( rejected the first few ones) #smiles# and he became really persistent, we later hooked up couple of times and the here we are…lol

The Proposal

My close girlfriends wanted us to go have fun and thought going to the beach wouldn’t be a bad idea. So, on that fateful Sunday, Dec 9th 2012, we went to Elegushi beach, before that day I had invited Ayoola( my no 1 padi), since we be came inseparable since we started dating. I had the mindset of having fun all day tho! Ayoola came with his friends and we all had a good time. Then it was almost time to for us to go home, I was packing and arranging stuffs, then I was tapped on my shoulder, i turning back and saw Ayoola and all his friends on their knees and I was confused, saw a box with him but still didn’t get it, not until he opened it, I saw the ring and he popped the question ” Abiola will u marry me” and started saying blah blah blah….I was speechless, Didn’t hear half of what he said lol. But I said Yes, i hugged him and we kissed.
