John Lennon’s Ferrari To Be Auctioned Off

A Ferrari that John Lennon bought hours after passing his driving test is going up for auction in July. The 1965 light blue Ferrari, is going up for auction as part of Bonham’s Goodwood Festival of Speed sale.

The car was one of the many top-of-the-line models that dealers sent to the singer’s home when he earned his driver’s license in February 1965. Lennon shelled out 2,000 pounds for the car back I’m 1965 and it’s expected to fetch about $340,000 about ($46,000 in today’s dollars).
