Teenager Faces 100 Lashes For Fornication. Can This Happen In Nigeria?

When I read the gist that the Maldives government had sentenced a 15-year-old girl to 100 lashes and eight months house arrest for engaging in premarital sex, few questions i asked myself was.. Can this happen in Nigeria where fornication has become a normal thing in exchange for cash? If it does, how many girls will be flogged in a day? Like over a hundred or more?
