D’Banj Unveils First Single With Sony Music

Nigeria pop icon, D’Banj has released a brand new single, ”Top of the World”. The song is the first single to be released through Sony Music’s RCA Africa label and DB Records Nigeria, since D’Banj signed his ground-breaking multi-album deal with Sony.

It is the official Super Sports anthem for the African Cup of Nations coming up in South Africa in January. The song is a pan – African song, with an international pop feel, devoid of his usual Afro Pop style.

The video of the song was released on Wednesday night on Sony Music Africa tv’s Youtube channel. Sony Music has disclosed on its Youtube channel that “Top of the World is already impacting Pan Africa on DStv as the official SuperSport anthem for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa”.
