MAN SENTENCED TO 1 -YR IMPRISONMENT FOR STEALING MINISTER’S SON’S CAP.

A Sharia Court in Kanwuri, Gusau, Zamfara State, had sentenced a man to one year imprisonment and payment of N20,000 fine, for stealing a cap worth N47,000, belonging to the son of the Minister of State for Works, Bashir Yuguda. The accused confessed to have stolen the cap and sold it to someone else for N1,500.

Is only in Nigeria we hear such things happening….Haba! Is this enough to sentence the guy to 1yr imprisonment?
