LAGOS OCEAN SURGE: BODIES OF 6 -YEAR – OLD GIRL & THREE OTHERS RECOVERED.

THREE bodies, including that of a six-year-old-girl, were on Sunday recovered from Kuramo Beach in Lagos by a joint operation supervised by officials of the state Ministry of Waterfront, state Emergency Management Agency and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps. The six – year old girl, Bisi Kolawole, was said to be the daughter of one of the traders at the beach front. Her mother and other siblings were still missing as at Sunday.

One of the bodies recovered was also said to be that of a 32-year-old man identified simply as Arthur. The body of an unidentified man was washed ashore on Saturday. The third body was that of a man identified simply by traders at the beach as Alhaji.

Another surge is expected by November, I hope the traders on the beach learn from this and stay away indefinitely .
