BANKS SHUT DOORS TO CUSTOMERS IN EDO STATE DUE TO ARMED ROBBERY ATTACKS

Banks in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State have vowed to remain closed until they are assured of adequate security in the area. Truth is they will be out of business for a long while just like the banks have packed up in Ogun State due to frequent attacks by armed robbers. Unless they are ready to provide security services for themselves. The Nigerian Police Force in recent times have been unable to provide adequate measures to curb the problem of insecurity. So, finding another means of solving the problem or being out of business indefinitely are the only options available to the Banks.
