25 Year Old Female Banker Shot Dead In Lagos

Two gunmen operating on a motorcycle has killed a staff of the United Bank for Africa, Damilola Sowemimo on Sunday on her way to church. She was killed in front of her house.

A friend of the deceased said Dami’s friends had packed their car on the other side of the road when gunmen on a motorcycle appeared from nowhere, got down from the bike, snatched her phone and ransacked her bag.

When they didn’t find any valuables, they got angry and shot her in the neck before speeding off. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but later gave up the ghost as she had lost a lot of blood.

Dami attended Federal Government Girls College, Oyo, and Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, where she studied Microbiology. May her soul rest in peace.
